The Field in the Battle for Donetsk Airport. Let's Remember Andriy Remeniuk

According to glavcom.ua: Every day at 9 am, Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives have been taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today, we remember Andriy Remeniuk.

Sniper and air defense operator Andriy Remeniuk was killed on December 8, 2014, during the shelling of the village of Peski in the Donetsk region by Russian militants in the battle for Donetsk airport. He was only 28 years old. This was reported by 'Glavkom'.

Andriy Remeniuk was born on September 16, 1986, in the Luhansk region. He finished school and a vocational educational institution, after which he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He continued to work in the field of transport and law enforcement. After the occupation of Luhansk, he moved with his family to another city.

In September 2014, Andriy decided to volunteer to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to the front. He was part of a separate battalion and participated in the anti-terrorist operation in the east of the country. The tragic event occurred on December 8, 2014, when Remeniuk was killed by Russian shelling.

Andriy Remeniuk is remembered by his relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms as an interesting and gifted person dedicated to defending his country. His heroic act is honored and remembered by Ukrainians.

After the soldier's death, he was buried at the Northern Cemetery in Slavyansk. In 2017, a memorial plaque was installed in his honor on the building of the local vocational educational institution.

Ukrainians honor the memory of heroes who have given their lives in the war against Russian aggression. Andriy Remeniuk, like many other Ukrainian defenders, holds a special place in the hearts of his compatriots, who remember his heroic act and selflessness.
