Medical staff in Poland is preparing for a possible war. The first two thousand specialists are planned to be trained by June next year in Krakow, Lublin, Warsaw, Gdansk, and Bialystok, reports Polish Radio.

Director of the Military Medical Institute Professor Grzegorz Gelearak stated that the training program will continue until 2029, and the results will be noticeable very soon.

"We have developed a National System for the Training of Medical Personnel. By June next year, we plan to train the first 2,000 workers. We will start with five centers in Poland - in Krakow, Lublin, Warsaw, Gdansk, and Bialystok. The goal is to prepare all personnel by 2029," Gelearak emphasized.

An important issue at the government medical summit was the funding of the healthcare system in the context of the National Health Fund's budget deficit.

Guide for Citizens in Case of War

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland has prepared instructions for citizens on actions in the event of war or natural disasters. Deputy Director of the Department of Civil Protection and Crisis Management of Poland, Robert Klonowski, spoke about this.

"The Safety Guide" contains advice on how to find drinking water and how to act during airstrikes or power outages.

In Poland, they are starting to train medical personnel in case of a possible war, planning to prepare the first two thousand specialists by June next year. A guide for citizens with instructions on actions in case of war or disaster has also been developed, including advice on water, safety, and electricity.
