Poland has put its air defense on combat readiness due to Russian MiG-31s
Poland has raised the readiness of its air defense due to the appearance of Russian MiG-31 aircraft in the west. Although the aircraft themselves have not breached the country's borders, the Polish army has nonetheless raised its combat readiness level, including Patriot systems.
The MiG-31 aircraft are fast and equipped with hypersonic missiles, making them a serious threat to NATO. Russia views such actions as a provocation, but NATO responds that it is ready for any developments.
'Let it be known: we are always ready to defend NATO territory,' emphasized an officer.
Meanwhile, Poland, Germany, and France are joining forces to support Ukraine. Each country has stated its support and willingness to provide the Ukrainian army with assistance in the form of weapons and military equipment.
Poland plans to allocate $100 million for the purchase of American weapons, Germany promises long-range weapons, and France plans to significantly enhance Ukraine's air power. These commitments are part of a larger support program for Ukraine, which remains relevant in light of the geopolitical situation in the region.
