According to glavcom.ua: The protesters decided to unblock the movement at the 'Medika-Szeginy' crossing point. According to the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Polish activists completed their movement restriction action at 17:00.

According to information from the Polish side, freight transport can now pass through the crossing point every 15 minutes in both directions. Processing of all vehicle categories is taking place in a normal mode, the State Border Guard Service reported.

It was noted that the reason for the protesters' demonstration was the low prices for the sale of grain products. Earlier that day at 12:50, Polish activists began blocking movement in front of the 'Medika-Szeginy' crossing point, but they allowed passenger cars and buses to pass without restrictions.

The Polish government included border control points in the list of critical infrastructure to prevent future attempts to block the Polish-Ukrainian border.

The Ukrainian-Polish crossing point 'Medika-Szeginy' has reopened for movement after Polish protesters lifted the blockade. The Polish government is taking measures to prevent similar situations in the future by including border points in the list of critical infrastructure.
