The director of Karaoke on the Maidan Vitaliy Zhdanko has passed away: what happened to the famous television figure
Last Saturday, August 30, we lost the director of the 'Karaoke on the Maidan' program, Vitaliy Zhdanko, who worked on this project for many years. This sad news was announced by host Igor Kondratyuk.
“It seems that Vitalik joined the program in 2001 and worked until the last episode. We have spent a long 18 years together on set! An honest, cheerful, sincere, sociable, and professional in his field...”
The late Zhdanko was an important member of the team, who not only worked on screen but also behind the scenes, creating promotional videos for various companies. In addition, he was actively involved in charity and helped raise money for various needs.
A Difficult Battle
In 2024, Vitaliy received a terrible diagnosis of brain cancer but did not give up and bravely began fighting the illness. However, although he did not lose hope, his condition gradually worsened, and unfortunately, he passed away.
“A year of fighting cancer passed with varying success, but the finale turned out to be fatal... Eternal and bright memory to you, our Vitalik! Sailed into eternity on his boat down the Dnieper. My heartfelt condolences to his wife Olena and two daughters,” said Igor Kondratyuk.
