More than 10 thousand IDPs from temporarily occupied territories have applied for housing vouchers: statistics by regions

More than 10 thousand applications for housing vouchers from temporarily occupied territories have been submitted by IDPs, with statistics reported by regions. The most requests came from residents of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions. Applicants from Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, and Zaporizhia regions are actively participating in the new program. It is indicated that the housing voucher will be issued after a positive decision by the commission, and its use will become possible after the announcement of the start of payments.

Due to the program's desire to reach more people, the Ministry of Development is seeking additional funding. Various options are being considered, including attracting funds from the budgets of communities that have relocated from the temporarily occupied territories. There is also talk of possible increased funding through reparations from the International Registry of Damages.
