Identification Deadline Missed by Over 300,000 Pensioners

According to Пенсії (RSS): To continue receiving payments in 2026, pensioners and social benefit recipients residing abroad or in temporarily occupied territories were required to complete an identification process or declare non-receipt of payments from the Russian Federation by the end of 2025. As of January 1, 2026, 337,000 individuals had not met these requirements and were consequently excluded from the January payment schedule.

Payments for January have already been processed for a portion of pensioners who completed the identification or provided confirmation of non-receipt in the occupied territories. For over 48,000 pensioners, payments will be secured in February, including a back-payment for January.
