According to УНІАН — Туризм: As of the morning of September 21, more than 50 trains operated by Ukrzaliznytsia are experiencing significant delays. Notably, train №121/122 running from Mykolaiv to Kyiv is delayed by 16 hours and 33 minutes, with its expected arrival now at 12:30 PM instead of 7:25 PM the previous day. These disruptions stem from attacks by Russian forces using rocket-propelled drones targeting Ukrainian passenger rail lines.

Train №109/110 traveling between Mykolaiv and Lviv is currently delayed by 13 hours and 10 minutes. Similarly, trains №233/234 (Kryvyi Rih to Chernivtsi) and №293/294 (Kryvyi Rih to Rakhiv) are both running behind schedule by 11 hours and 29 minutes. Train №3/4 on the Dnipro-Uzhhorod route is delayed by 8 hours and 25 minutes, while trains №285/286 (Lviv to Dnipro) and №41/42 (Truskavets to Dnipro) face delays of 7 hours and 38 minutes.

Additional trains experiencing delays between 5 and 7 hours include:

• №285/286 Dnipro to Lviv (+5 hours)
• №41/42 Dnipro to Truskavets (+5 hours)

Trains delayed from 3 to 5 hours are:

• №3/4 Uzhhorod to Dnipro (+4 hours 56 minutes)
• №79/80 Lviv to Dnipro (+4 hours 24 minutes)

Over 20 additional trains are currently delayed by 2 to 5 hours.

On September 16, Russian forces launched three attacks on the Kyiv–Mykolaiv passenger train. Thanks to prompt instructions from Ukrzaliznytsia's monitoring team, the locomotive crew, train staff, and passengers were evacuated safely during the assault with no casualties.

Earlier, on September 13, a passenger train located just 2 kilometers from the Polish border was struck. The train crew had been warned in advance, and thankfully, no injuries occurred.
