Funding of the Pension Fund of Ukraine

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of August 13, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has financed pension payments, housing subsidies, and benefits, as well as insurance and social payments. In August, 539.6 thousand services were provided to individuals who appealed to the fund's authorities.

Pension payments amounted to 41.8 billion UAH, of which:

• 7.1 billion UAH was financed through JSC UkrPost;
• 34.7 billion UAH – through authorized banks.

1.5 billion UAH was allocated for housing subsidies and benefits, and 2.1 billion UAH for insurance payments, including 0.8 billion UAH for sick leave payments. In addition, 7.0 billion UAH was directed for social assistance and other payments.

The role of the Pension Fund in supporting the population

This data indicates the active work of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the face of current economic challenges. The increase in the volume of funding signifies the need to support the population, especially in conditions of socio-economic instability. Ensuring timely pension and social assistance payments is an important step in supporting the welfare of citizens.
