According to Мін. Оборони: The Government of Ukraine has decided to strengthen the personnel reserve of reserve officers to enhance the effectiveness of military training for citizens. The changes proposed by the Ministry of Defense include an increase in training time, the introduction of new standards, and the optimization of administrative procedures.
- More hours, more knowledge: Training time is increasing from 1,080 to 1,320 hours, which will allow for better mastery of military skills.
- New standards: The introduction of a new discipline 'Military Training' is aimed at a deeper study of tactical courses at the basic and professional levels.
- Clear procedures: The new procedure improves administrative processes, clarifies the conduct of competitions, and clearly distributes responsibilities among agencies.
Special attention is paid to the medical field. To ensure high-quality medical care for the military, medical students and pharmacists who are fit for military service must undergo military training.
These changes will contribute to improving the quality of training for reserve officers in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
