Ukrainian Agrarians Have Completed Winter Crop Planting at 97%: Key Figures for Harvest 2025

According to Мін. Економіки: Ukrainian agrarians continue to actively carry out the sowing campaign for 2025. As of today, 6,389.9 thousand hectares of winter crops have been sown, which is 97.5% of the projected areas. The most common crops are winter wheat, winter barley, and winter rye.
Currently, the leaders in grain crop sowing are Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Some regions have already completed the sowing of grains, and the national level of completion for winter crop sowing is 96%.
Winter rapeseed has also been successfully sown over the majority of the territory, indicating favorable conditions for agriculture continuing. May the harvest be abundant and of high quality!
