According to ХВИЛЯ: A powerful cyclone moving into Ukraine from the south will bring significant precipitation, icy conditions, and sharp temperature contrasts to many regions on February 18th. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warns that weather conditions will deteriorate, particularly in the southern, eastern, and central oblasts. This type of winter storm is common for the region in February and often disrupts daily life.

Significant precipitation is expected in Odesa Oblast, spreading later in the day to Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, and Poltava oblasts. Temperatures in these regions will range from -3 to +2 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Cherkasy and Sumy oblasts are forecast to receive heavy snowfall. In the north of the country, nighttime temperatures may plummet to -17 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between -5 and -10 degrees.

Kyiv and its surrounding oblast can expect cloudy weather with daytime snow on February 18th. Overnight frost in the capital may reach -12 to -14 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will range from -8 to -10 degrees. Gusts of northeasterly wind are also forecast for eastern and southern oblasts.
