Air Raid Alert in Lviv

According to Главком: Air raid sirens were activated in Lviv, with residents reporting the sound of explosions. The city's air defense systems were engaged in response. The Ukrainian Air Force had issued a warning at 16:19 about unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) approaching the Lviv region. These alerts are a regular occurrence for Ukrainian cities as the war continues.

Combined Assault Targets Ukraine

In the early hours of March 24, the Russian Federation launched a combined assault on Ukraine's critical infrastructure, deploying drones and missiles. The attack resulted in damage across 11 of the country's regions. Repair crews are currently working to restore the affected facilities.

This overnight attack by Russian forces targeted energy infrastructure facilities once again. Due to direct hits and damage to the power grid, a number of consumers in six regions were left without electricity. Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi urged residents to take precautions:

"Explosions can be heard in Lviv. Air defense is active! Do not record video. Stay in a safe place!" - Andriy Sadovyi

This situation underscores the ongoing Russian aggression, which persistently targets Ukraine's critical infrastructure in an attempt to destabilize the nation's energy grid. Given the extensive damage, restoration efforts may take considerable time, affecting power supply in multiple regions. The call from local authorities for citizens to follow safety protocols highlights the seriousness of the threat to the civilian population.

The recent air raid alerts in Lviv reflect a broader pattern of ongoing threats faced by Ukrainian cities, particularly following the latest Russian strikes on critical infrastructure.
