Air Raid Alert Issued for Kyiv and Multiple Regions

According to Главком: Authorities in Kyiv and several other regions declared an air raid alert on January 24 due to a ballistic missile threat. This marks the second such alert within a single day. The Kyiv City State Administration and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided the warning via Telegram.

The threat originated from Russia's Bryansk region. A high-speed target was detected over northern Chernihiv region, moving in the direction of the Kyiv region. The first air raid alert on January 24 lasted for 40 minutes. This alert occurs on the 1,431st day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, a conflict that continues to threaten civilian areas with long-range strikes.

"An air raid alert has been declared in Kyiv! We urge everyone to proceed immediately to the nearest civil defense shelter" - Kyiv City State Administration.
