According to Главком: A significant fire at a vehicle service station (STO) in Boyarka, Kyiv Oblast, has been extinguished after being sparked by dry grass. The Fastiv District Rescue Service received the initial alert about the incident at 11:00 on March 27.

The blaze ultimately spread across an area of 680 square meters. The fire progressed from the dry grass to nearby wooden pallets before engulfing the service station building itself. Due to the high risk of the fire spreading further, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene under an elevated response protocol.

Firefighters successfully contained and extinguished the fire by 14:20. The exact cause of the ignition is currently under investigation. As stated by representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) Main Directorate in Kyiv Oblast,

“The fire was extinguished at 14:20 across an area of 680 sq. m. The cause of the fire is being established.”
