A TCC employee beat a teacher at a checkpoint: the court imposed a penalty and a fine

According to glavcom.ua: The Saltivskyi District Court in Kharkiv has issued a verdict in the case against an employee of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support. The man was found guilty of hooliganism for beating a history teacher during a document check. He will have to pay 150 thousand hryvnias in moral damages to the victim, reports the publication 'Glavkom'.

The court decided that the defendant in military uniform was punished for his hooliganism, showing flagrant disrespect for societal norms and using physical violence. This act was classified under the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and the man was sentenced to three months of restriction of liberty.

In addition, he was ordered to pay 150 thousand hryvnias in moral damages under the civil lawsuit. The case is currently being considered in the Kharkiv Court of Appeal, where the appeal was deemed unfounded and sent to rectify deficiencies.
