Ukrainian experts influenced NATO's long-term strategy towards Russia

According to Мін. Оборони: Representatives of the Ukrainian JATEC participated in the Red Hyena 45 exercises, which helped develop NATO's long-term policy regarding Russia. These exercises took place at the UK Ministry of Defence's Defence Experimentation and Wargaming Hub, and were part of a series of military-strategic games conducted by NATO Allied Command Transformation.

“The participation of the Ukrainian JATEC delegation allowed the experience of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine to be taken into account in the game scenario,” emphasized Colonel Valery Vyshnivsky, Ukraine's senior national representative and director of JATEC programs.

These exercises became an important component in developing strategic thinking regarding the security of Ukraine and cooperation with NATO. Members of the Ukrainian delegation gained valuable experience that will assist in further developing strategies and plans to ensure national security in the face of modern geopolitical challenges.
