Serhiy Koretsky: the resilience of Ukraine is the result of collective efforts
Congratulations on Ukraine's Independence Day
According to Кабмін: Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky delivered a congratulatory message on the occasion of Independence Day. He stated that the country's independence became possible due to the struggle of entire generations, and this struggle is still ongoing. The reason is the war that Russia has once again brought to Ukrainian soil. The head of government emphasized that Ukraine has endured only because the efforts were collective.
"Independence is the achievement of generations, and now we must fight for it again," noted Serhiy Koretsky.
The Prime Minister also said that Russia has once again come to Ukrainian soil with war, to take away people's freedom, destroy their identity, and deprive them of the right to decide their own future.
Who helps Ukraine to hold on
Koretsky spoke about how different people contribute to the common resistance:
- military - defend the country;
- rescue workers - clear rubble and save people;
- doctors - fight for lives;
- millions of Ukrainians - work, support the army, and rebuild what has been destroyed.
"Ukraine has withstood because everyone does their part," concluded the Prime Minister. The address ended with the words: "Happy Independence Day! Glory to Ukraine!"
This congratulation is directed not only to the history but also to the present day, as the country lives in the conditions of a military conflict. For the Russian-speaking audience, it is important to emphasize that the Ukrainian authorities perceive the war as part of a long struggle for independence, and consider the unity of society as a key condition for survival. Therefore, Independence Day for Ukrainians is not just a historical date, but a symbol of the future that is being defended today.
