According to Кабмін: Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko opened the 15th meeting of the Steering Committee of the Ukrainian Donor Platform in Kyiv. The head of the Government emphasized that the Platform has become an effective mechanism for coordinating budget support, recovery, private investment development, and reform implementation.

This year's meeting in this format is already taking place for the second time in Kyiv, and for us, it is an important sign of our partners' unity with Ukraine. 'I had the honor to thank our partners for the financial assistance that the member countries of the Platform provide to Ukraine. We are working together to make decisions regarding reparative loans and a new IMF program for the upcoming period,' noted Yulia Svyrydenko.

Main highlights of the meeting:

  • Support from partners and financial assistance. Ukraine is working with partners on decisions regarding reparative loans and a new IMF program.
  • Economic growth. The state budget's own revenues have increased by 25% this year. Rebooting management of state-owned enterprises in the energy and defense sectors.
  • Government priorities: energy resilience, development of veteran policy, creation of a Veteran Fund.
  • Support for frontline regions, where over 6.5 million people live. Infrastructure recovery: water supply systems have been restored in Mykolaiv and Kryvyi Rih, the first Euro-gauge railway has been opened from Uzhhorod, and other projects are underway.

The Ukrainian donor platform unites 25 countries and 7 international financial institutions and organizations – and we are grateful to partners for their effective work.

Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko opened the meeting of the Steering Committee of the Ukrainian Donor Platform, emphasizing the importance of cooperation with partners in the country's development and noting achievements and plans for the future, including support for frontline regions and work on reforms.
