According to Главком: Kyiv's Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development has announced that agricultural markets will operate in the city on Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15. These markets are a vital source of fresh, locally produced food for residents. However, due to ongoing quarantine restrictions, several locations will be temporarily closed until further notice. These include Novopyrohivska Street, 25/2-29 in the Holosiivskyi district, as well as Petra Kalnyshevskoho Street, 1-5, and Iordanska Street, 1-9, in the Obolonskyi district.
Market Schedule and Locations
On Saturday, March 14, markets will be open in the following districts:
- Holosiivskyi district: Pankivska Street (between Saksahanskoho and Zhylianska streets) and Holosiivska Street, 4-10.
- Darnytskyi district: Revutskoho Street.
- Desnianskyi district: Mykoly Zakrevskoho Street (between Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue, 2-A, and Ronalda Reigana Street).
- Dniprovskyi district: Vsevoloda Nestayka Street (near the Livoberezhnyi post office).
- Podilskyi district: Stepana Bandery Avenue (near Kurenivskyi Park).
- Solomianskyi district: Akademika Shalimova Street (between Liubomyra Huzara Avenue, 28, and Vasylia Chumaka Street).
- Shevchenkivskyi district: Bohdana Havrylyshyna Street, 7-11.
On Sunday, March 15, markets will be held at these locations:
- Holosiivskyi district: Samiila Kishky Street (between Yulii Zdanovskoi and Vasylia Kasiiana streets).
- Darnytskyi district: Zdolbunivska Street, 4.
- Dniprovskyi district: Ihoria Yukhnovskoho Street (between Raiduzhna and Starosilska streets).
- Pecherskyi district: John McCain Street (between Ioanna Pavla II and Dmytra Doroshenka streets).
- Shevchenkivskyi district: Tatarska Street, 32-38.
In addition to the temporary markets, the city's major municipal markets will also remain open. These include:
- KP Volodymyrskyi Market at Antonovycha Street, 115;
- KP Zhytnii Market at Verkhnii Val Street, 16;
- KP Bessarabskyi Market at Bessarabska Square, 2.
