According to ХВИЛЯ: The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center forecasts cloudy skies with precipitation in some regions for February 13. Dangerous weather phenomena, including fog and icy conditions, are expected. These conditions are forming under the influence of a low-pressure system.

Regional Weather Conditions

During the day, light rain is forecast for the south, east, and far west of the country. Fog overnight and in the morning will cover central, most southern, and some western and northern regions. Icing may occur locally on roads, except in the south. A southeasterly wind of 5-10 m/s is expected.

  • Nighttime temperatures will range from +3 to -2 degrees Celsius, potentially dropping to -5 degrees in eastern areas.
  • Daytime highs will reach 0 to +5 degrees.
  • In Zakarpattia and the south, nighttime temperatures will be between +1 and +6 degrees, with daytime highs of +4 to +9 degrees.
  • In Crimea, temperatures could rise as high as +15 degrees.

Kyiv Oblast and the city of Kyiv are also expected to have cloudy weather on February 13, but without precipitation. Fog and icy conditions are possible in parts of Kyiv Oblast overnight and in the morning. Temperatures in Kyiv Oblast will be between +3 and -2 degrees at night and 0 to +5 degrees during the day. In Kyiv, nighttime temperatures will be around 0 degrees, with daytime highs of +1 to +3 degrees.

Icy patches are expected on roads in many areas, so please exercise caution while driving.
