Solar Storm Activity
In addition to the weather forecast, the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) has issued a geomagnetic storm advisory. A minor solar storm (K-index of 3, green level) is forecast for March 29. Activity is expected to increase to a moderate storm level (K-index of 4, yellow level) on March 30. These solar events are caused by charged particles from the sun interacting with Earth's magnetic field.
The changing weather conditions may affect outdoor plans for residents. Meanwhile, the information about solar storms is particularly relevant for individuals sensitive to geomagnetic fluctuations, who may experience headaches or other discomfort during such events. Monitoring both atmospheric and space weather is important for public well-being.
As we look ahead to the weather conditions on March 30, it's essential to consider the recent developments in both atmospheric and geomagnetic activity.
