According to ХВИЛЯ: Meteorologist Natalia Ptukha has issued the weather forecast for Ukraine in March 2024. According to her predictions, the average monthly temperature is expected to range from +1 to +7 degrees Celsius, with some regions potentially experiencing temperatures 1.5-2.5 degrees above the norm. Precipitation in March will not exceed average levels and is forecast to be between 30-53 millimeters, though in mountainous areas this figure could reach up to 98 millimeters.

An anticyclone forming over Ukraine at the start of spring will influence weather patterns. The first ten days of March will see a notable lack of precipitation due to a persistent area of high atmospheric pressure across the country. No rainfall is expected in the first five days, though isolated weather fronts are possible in the northeast. Throughout this initial decade, daytime temperatures will remain consistently above freezing, while slight overnight frosts are possible in northern and northeastern regions.

She also emphasized that March can be a month of sharp contrasts: 'Historical data shows maximum temperatures have reached 18-29 degrees Celsius, while minimums have plunged to 20-33 degrees below zero. This year, we are observing a gradual temperature increase.'
