The court returned the premises in Podil to Kyiv: how the prosecutor challenged the forgery

According to Прокуратура Київ: The prosecutor demanded the return of the premises in Podil to communal ownership in court. The Podil District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv filed a lawsuit, and the Economic Court of Kyiv decided to return the non-residential premises located at 23 Nizhniy Val Street to the local community of the capital.

It was found that the premises lost its status as communal property due to a court ruling in 2010, which was subsequently overturned due to false information and forged documents. Despite this, the ownership of the premises was registered to a private individual.

As a result of the case, the court decided that the premises should return to communal ownership since the previous ruling was overturned due to violations of the law.
