On Thursday, July 17, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, under the leadership of Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, approved the updated composition of the Cabinet of Ministers. As a result of the voting, several ministries received new leaders, with the decision supported by 254 people's deputies. People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported on Telegram: 'Later, two more ministers will be added: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense… That is, Sibiga and Shmyhal) And this 'Great lodge-transfer' will end'. The new composition of the Cabinet includes the following appointments: - Mykhailo Fedorov – First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Digital Transformation; - Oleksiy Sobolev – Minister of Economy, Environmental Protection and Agriculture; - Svitlana Hrynchuk – Minister of Energy; - Denys Uliutina – Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine; - Herman Halushchenko – Minister of Justice; - Taras Kachka – Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. Some ministers have left their posts, while the government's reshuffle has reorganized several ministries. For example, the Ministry of Defense was merged with the Ministry of Industrial Policy and the Ministry of Economy. The post of Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers was also abolished, transferring its functions to the Secretariat of the government. The approved updated composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reflects new appointments and structural changes in the work of the government, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the executive branch.
