The Verkhovna Rada has made a decision to increase state budget expenditures by 40 billion UAH. The implementation of this bill includes funding for various sectors, notably supporting military lyceums and purchasing medical supplies for cancer patients.

  • 25.5 billion UAH will go to the reserve fund of the state budget;
  • 4.3 billion UAH is allocated for the purchase of special equipment and grants for the Ministry of Digital Transformation;
  • 4.6 billion UAH is designated for student meals;
  • 3.2 billion UAH for the purchase of medical supplies;
  • 1.5 billion UAH for expanding the network of military lyceums;
  • 1.2 billion UAH for assistance to war veterans and their families.

Changes in the Government and Ukroboronprom

President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Mykola Tocytsky as the new representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe. Additionally, Herman Smetanin became the general director of Ukroboronprom. Both new appointments highlight the importance of experience and professionalism in carrying out responsible positions.

The Anti-Corruption Court has made a decision

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court kept Tetiana Krupa in custody with the possibility of bail. This decision is lawful and is not subject to further appeal. The result indicates the continuation of the fight against corruption in the country.

The Parliament has decided to increase state budget expenditures, directing funds to various sectors, including education, healthcare, and defense. The appointment of new officials and judicial decisions indicate strengthening control and the fight against corruption in Ukraine.
