The attack caused significant destruction and sparked fires. According to Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko, the missile strike resulted in four people being wounded and one person killed.

'There are casualties in Brovary as a result of the missile attack. At this time, we know of four injured and, unfortunately, one fatality. All details will follow. Please remain in safety until the air raid alert is over.'
This assault follows another attack on the evening of March 6, when Russian forces targeted the Kyiv region with drones, also causing damage in two districts. The situation in Brovary and the wider Kyiv region remains tense, with civilians bearing the brunt of these strikes on urban areas.
