Zaporizhzhia: Rescuer Dies During Repeated Russian Shelling
According to ДСНС: A tragic event occurred in Zaporizhzhia, where rescuer Vitaliy Nakaryakoff died on November 15, 2023, as a result of repeated shelling. He gave his life to protect others from the consequences of the enemy strike.
Vitaliy Nakaryakoff served in the State Emergency Service for eight years and was also in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participating in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. He had impressive experience and dedication to his work, making him a true professional.
On the day of the tragedy, rescuers arrived at the site of the shelling to assist. However, the Russian army carried out another strike, which proved fatal for Vitaliy Nakaryakoff. He died in the fire, risking his life to save others.

In order to commemorate the heroic deeds of Vitaliy Nakaryakoff, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has created a book of remembrance, to which anyone can contribute important information about the deceased.
