Donetsk-Luhansk Rescuers Deploy Armored Van for Frontline Missions

According to ДСНС: The Mobile Rapid Response Rescue Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for Donetsk and Luhansk has received an armored Volkswagen Transporter. This vehicle was provided by the charitable foundation Ukrainian Firefighters, with financial backing from American donors. The delivery of such specialized equipment is critical for operations in eastern Ukraine, where rescue workers routinely operate under direct threat.

The handover ceremony was attended by Roman Prymush, Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service, and Vyacheslav Filyushin, Head of the Donetsk-Luhansk Mobile Rapid Response Center. The armored Volkswagen Transporter will be utilized for:

• evacuating civilians from front-line areas,
• delivering humanitarian aid,
• carrying out other critical assignments.
