According to ДСНС: Russian forces shelled a residential district in the city of Kherson on the evening of February 24, 2024. The attack ignited a fire in an apartment building, which emergency crews successfully extinguished.

Firefighters worked under the constant threat of incoming Russian drone strikes and artillery fire. Despite the extreme danger, they managed to rescue one woman from the scene.
