Zelensky in Ireland: discussed the return of children and Ukraine's accession to the EU

During the official visit to Dublin, we met with the President of Ireland, Catherine Connolly. One of the key topics of discussion was the return of Ukrainian children who were abducted to Russia. We also discussed the joining of two Irish universities to the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies, as well as possible steps to bring Ukraine closer to the European Union.

At the meeting, we also discussed cooperation in ensuring global food security, the rehabilitation and socialization of Ukrainian warriors, as well as the construction of shelters in our schools. We expressed gratitude to Ireland for its support in all aspects, from financial assistance to humanitarian support during times of Russian aggression. Such support is extremely important for us, Ukrainians.
