According to glavcom.ua: Ukraine national team roster

The head coach of the Ukraine national football team, Serhiy Rebrov, has finalized the list of players who will prepare for the matches against France and Azerbaijan in the qualifying tournament for the World Cup. The main roster includes 25 players, and the reserve list includes six. Two potential debutants, Taras Mykhavko and Oleg Ocheretko, have been invited to the training camp.

Goalkeepers: Andriy Lunin, Anatoliy Trubin, Dmytro Riznyk.

Defenders: Illya Zabarnyi, Oleksandr Svatok, Valeriy Bondar, Mykola Matviyenko, Yukhym Konoplia, Taras Mykhavko, Oleksandr Tymchyk, Vitaliy Mykolenko.

Midfielders: Oleksandr Zinchenko, Yegor Yarmolyuk, Ivan Kalyuzhny, Mykola Shaparenko, Oleg Ocheretko, Heorhii Sudakov, Artem Bondarenko, Oleksii Hutsuliak, Oleksandr Nazarenko, Viktor Tsygankov, Oleksandr Zubkov.

Forwards: Roman Yaremchuk, Artem Dovbyk, Vladislav Vanat.

Reserve list: Heorhii Bushchan, Bohdan Mykhailichenko, Yevhen Cheberko, Oleksandr Pikhalyonok, Volodymyr Brazhko, Nazar Voloshyn.

The national team gathering will start on September 1 near Poznań in Poland. On September 4, the team will move to Wrocław, where on September 5, they will play against France.

World Cup 2026. Qualifying Cycle

UEFA has 16 spots for the 2026 World Cup. The qualifying rounds in Europe will take place from March 2025 to March 2026 and will consist of two rounds. The first qualification round will have 12 groups, with the winners receiving direct spots for the tournament. Second places and the best teams from the Nations League will also have their chance in the playoff matches.

The 2026 World Cup will be the first to feature 48 teams, which will be divided into 12 groups. The opening match will take place in Mexico City, and the final will be held in New York.
