The government launches a digital Register of Arms Dealers: how this will change defense procurement

According to Мін. Оборони: The Ukrainian government has announced the introduction of a digital Register of Arms Dealers, aimed at ensuring transparency in defense procurement. This initiative is part of the State Anti-Corruption Program and aims to improve the procurement system for military needs.
"The updated digital Register of Arms Dealers is an important step towards transparency in defense procurement. This decision is part of our State Anti-Corruption Program and is aimed at building a modern, effective digital environment that meets the needs of the army," said Ukraine's Minister of Defense Denis Shmyhal.
The implementation of the digital Register of Arms Dealers will make defense procurement more transparent and efficient, reduce the risks of fraudulent contracts, promote fair competition, and ensure data reliability.
