According to Главком: On the night of July 6, Russia launched a large-scale, coordinated attack against Ukraine, with the capital city of Kyiv as the primary target. A total of 419 airborne assault systems were recorded. As of 8:30 AM, 363 targets-including various types of missiles and drones-had been either shot down or neutralized.
The attack involved the following weaponry:
- six 3M22 Tsirkon/Onyx anti-ship missiles,
- 23 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles,
- 33 Kh-101 cruise missiles, and
- six Kalibr cruise missiles.
The largest portion of the assault consisted of 351 strike drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and Parody decoy drones.
During the attack, Ukrainian air defense forces successfully intercepted 37 missiles, among them 31 Kh-101 cruise missiles and six Kalibr cruise missiles. Additionally, 326 enemy drones of various types were destroyed. At the same time, 29 ballistic missile impacts were recorded across 34 locations, along with 18 strike drone impacts at 34 locations. Falling debris from downed drones was reported at 16 sites.
Day of Mourning Declared in Kyiv

The Vyshneve city community in the Kyiv region has urged residents to stay indoors due to the risk of secondary detonations.
