A Record Day on the Frontline: 257 Clashes and a Massive Drone Wave of 9,388

According to Главком: Over the past 24 hours, 257 combat engagements were recorded. Russian forces launched a single missile strike using three missiles, along with 101 airstrikes that dropped 310 guided aerial bombs. The occupiers deployed 9,388 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,896 shelling attacks on Ukrainian defense positions and populated areas, including 71 instances involving multiple rocket launchers. In response, Ukraine’s defense forces struck eight areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, two artillery systems, a fuel and lubricant depot, as well as a command post and a drone control center.

Frontline Situation

On the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, four combat clashes occurred, during which the enemy conducted two airstrikes using six guided bombs. The adversary carried out 77 shelling attacks, five of which involved multiple launch rocket systems. On the Southern Slobozhanskyi axis, the occupiers launched eight assaults on positions near Starytsia, Vilcha, and toward Kozacha Lopan, Izbystske, and Chaikivka.

On the Kupiansk axis, Russian troops attacked five times near Pishchane and toward Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Kivsharivka, and Novoplatonivka. On the Lyman axis, the occupiers attempted 17 breakthroughs in the areas of Zarichne, Yampil, and toward Shiikivka, Chervonyi Stav, Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Ozerne. On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy stormed positions 23 times near Zakitne, Riznykivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.

On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers attacked once near Malynivka, while on the Kostiantynivka axis, they conducted 23 assaults in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Rusynyi Yar, and toward Kostiantynivka and Stepanivka. On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders halted 31 enemy assault actions, with the fiercest fighting occurring near Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Vasylivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Toretske, Kucherovyi Yar, Ivanivka, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Shevchenko, and Novopidhorodne.

On the Oleksandrivsk axis, Ukrainian troops repelled five enemy attacks near Oleksandrohrad and toward Verbove. On the Huliaipole axis, the occupiers conducted 27 assaults near Dobropillia and toward Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Rizdvianka, Rivne, Staroukrainka, Huliaipolske, and Charivne. On the Orikhiv axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped four enemy attempts to advance near Stepove and toward Pavlivka and Shcherbaky. On the Dnipro axis, the enemy carried out no offensive actions over the past day. This marks the 1,584th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.

Given the current military situation, which is marked by intense combat activity, particularly in eastern and southern Ukraine, it is important to note that both sides continue to hold a tense stance. The number of attacks and shelling incidents indicates an escalation of the conflict, which could have serious consequences for civilians and infrastructure in the affected regions. Ukraine urgently needs to maintain its defense, which, according to assessments, may lead to prolonged battles in the near future.
