Barlinek is a leading global manufacturer of multilayer wooden floors with an annual production capacity of over 12 million square meters. The most important product is Barlinek's parquet board made from European and exotic woods. The flooring is sold in 75 countries across six continents.

In addition to parquet boards, Barlinek manufactures certified flooring for sports facilities, wooden skirting boards, and biofuel for fireplaces.

Currently, Barlinek is one of the top three producers of wooden floors in Europe. The parquet board manufacturing plants are located in Poland, Romania, and Ukraine.

Barlinek in Vinnytsia

According to open data, the company was registered in Vinnytsia on January 13, 2006. In the fall of 2007, the first subsidiary of the company was launched in Vinnytsia.

The CEO is Kostrytsia Andriy Mykolayovych. As of 2022, 1295 people were officially employed at the factory. Some sections of the facility operate continuously.

Poland's reaction to the attack

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radoslaw Sikorski, reported that a Polish consulate is working at the site together with Ukrainian services. The Minister noted that the factory director told him about the intentional nature of the strike from three directions. As a result of the attack, there are wounded, two of whom have severe burns.

Sikorski emphasized that 'Putin's criminal war is approaching the borders of Poland.'
