According to glavcom.ua: Representatives of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation proposed to shorten the duration of education in schools and universities so that women start having children earlier. This is reported by 'Glavkom' referring to Russian media.

The increase in the age of marriage and childbirth is associated with an extended period of social maturity, said the head of the Public Chamber's demographic commission, Sergey Rybalchenko. According to him, specialists currently study for an average of 17 years: 11 years in school, four in bachelor's degree, and two in master's degree, after which they spend an additional three years on adaptation. Rybalchenko suggests changing this system.

«As a result, only by the age of 27 does a young specialist think about having children. One can shorten the educational process to 15 years without loss of quality, with 8-10 years in school and five as a specialist. Consequently, a person will enter adult life two years earlier,» he proposes.

The head of the commission believes that this measure can only be evaluated ten years after its introduction. At the same time, he noted that there are already projects where children master the primary school curriculum in three years instead of four, and their knowledge does not differ from that of their peers.

The Ideological Front of Vladimir Putin

We remind you that it was previously reported that after the invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched another front – the ideological one. Its goal is to shape a generation of young Russians prepared for future wars, which, in his opinion, are needed to restore imperial greatness.

Representatives of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation warn about the necessity of shortening the education duration for young people to increase the early age of marriage and childbirth. The new proposal is aimed at improving demographic indicators and overall societal development.
