Motorcycle Market: Which Models Are Chosen by Ukrainian Drivers

In June 2025, 9,500 units of motorcycles were sold in the market. This is 7.5% less than in May but 9.7% more than in June last year.

Experts note that summer always brings a revival in the motorcycle market due to the high riding season.

The most popular in the market are new motorcycles, which make up 57% of all sold units, of which 5,408 were imported. In Ukraine, Ukrainian buyers completed 3,230 purchase and sale transactions for motorcycles, and another 852 motorcycles were imported as usual. The final data showed a decrease in the volume of internal resales and imports of new motorcycles compared to the previous month, but growth in indicators compared to the same period last year. Japanese leaders are noticeable in the market: Honda and Yamaha, which enjoy stable demand among reliability enthusiasts. Affordable brands such as Geon, Lifan, Musstang, Bajaj, as well as the relatively new player Kovi are also popular. As for imported motorcycles, the priority is given to well-known Japanese brands, but there is also a growing popularity of premium options such as Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Indian, KTM. New motorcycles for sale are most often represented by budget brands, as well as Spark, Musstang, Lifan, Geon, Kovi, and Forte. Regarding the future development of the market, it will largely depend on weather conditions and the economic situation in the country.
