Russian Military Strikes Across Ukraine

According to Главком: Russian forces have continued their assaults on Ukrainian territory, including the Chernihiv region. In the city of Pryluky, a strike on the city center has set the city hall building ablaze. Reports indicate three explosions rocked the city, causing significant destruction. The damage to the building and other consequences of the attack underscore the severity of the situation.

"In the Chernihiv region, Russian terrorists attacked the center of Pryluky - the city hall building is on fire," notes the publication GLAVKOM.

Situation in Other Regions

Beyond Chernihiv, Russian invaders have also carried out attacks on other Ukrainian regions. Specifically, the Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, Pavlohrad, and Synelnykove districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were targeted by drones over ten times. As a result of these strikes, an 11-year-old boy was killed and five people were wounded. In Nikopol this morning, Russian troops struck a minibus with a drone, leading to the death of three people and more than a dozen wounded.

Furthermore, on the night of April 6, Russian occupiers attacked Chernihiv Oblast, striking the Novhorod-Siverskyi district where an energy facility was damaged. Russian invaders also attacked Semyenivka in Chernihiv Oblast with drones, damaging a comprehensive school building. The situation in the regions remains tense, and the scale of the destruction is a cause for grave concern.

These attacks on Ukrainian territory, particularly in Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, demonstrate the continuation of Russia's aggressive actions. The damage to critical infrastructure, including administrative and educational buildings, further complicates the humanitarian situation in these areas. The deadly toll among the civilian population highlights the serious threat to non-combatants, which is prompting international alarm and will likely lead to renewed measures to support Ukraine. These strikes are part of a wider pattern of attacks on civilian infrastructure far from the front lines.

The ongoing attacks highlight a troubling pattern of violence across Ukraine. Recent events in Nikopol serve as a stark reminder of the escalating conflict, where a drone strike resulted in numerous injuries and significant damage. Such incidents not only intensify the humanitarian crisis but also raise urgent questions about the safety of civilians in affected regions.
