Russian Military Targets Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa Regions

According to Главком: Russian forces launched attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region and the city of Odesa, resulting in civilian deaths, injuries, and significant damage to infrastructure. The overnight strikes included the Vasylkiv community in the Synelnykove district, where a 68-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were killed. Two others, a 47-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man, were hospitalized in moderate condition.

The assault sparked fires, damaging three private houses-one of which was destroyed-along with outbuildings, cars, a disused structure, and an administrative building. A power line was also damaged. The Nikopol area, including the cities of Nikopol and Marhanets, the Myrivska community, and the Chervonohryhorivka community, was also targeted with FPV drones and Grad multiple rocket launchers, causing further infrastructure and power line damage.

Shelling in Odesa

In Odesa, a nighttime artillery barrage damaged more than 20 residential buildings, two kindergartens, and one school. Two people were wounded and received medical treatment on site. Oleksandr Ganzha reported:

"Fires broke out. Three private houses were damaged, and another one was destroyed. Outbuildings, cars, a disused building, and an administrative building were wrecked. A power line was hit."

These attacks underscore the persistent threat to civilians in Ukraine as the war continues. The targeting of critical infrastructure, including schools, creates severe hardship for residents struggling to meet basic needs. This latest barrage is part of a sustained campaign against Ukrainian regions far from the front lines, highlighting the conflict's wide geographic reach.
