Russia attacked Chernihiv region with drones: injured woman and 14-year-old child

On the evening of September 1, Russian drones carried out an attack on the Chernihiv region. According to the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, people were injured during the attack. The incident occurred in the town of Horodnia on the border of the region.

According to the regional administration, a 14-year-old girl and a 50-year-old local resident were injured and taken to the hospital. In addition, private houses were damaged as a result of the attack.

It is reminded that in the morning of August 31, there was also an attack by Russian drones on the Chernihiv region, when the enemy struck a critical civilian infrastructure facility in the Nizhyn district. This is another incident in a series of attacks carried out by the Russian occupation army on the Chernihiv region.

Such attacks indicate a deterioration in the situation in eastern Ukraine and security threats posed to the civilian population. Ukrainian forces are taking necessary measures to protect the country's territory from potential threats and provocations.
