Kharkiv Endures Two Consecutive Nights of Drone Strikes by Russia, Damaging Homes and Injuring Civilians

According to Главком: For the second night in a row, the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv came under attack by Russian drones. The assault on the night of January 25, carried out using Iranian-made 'Shahed' drones, targeted the Kholodnohirskyi district, resulting in direct hits, fires, and damage to residential buildings. This follows a similar attack the previous night, on January 24, which lasted nearly two and a half hours and struck the Industrialnyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts. The strikes hit a range of civilian areas, including:

• multi-story apartment buildings,
• private homes,
• and an area near a dormitory housing internally displaced persons.

The attacks ignited fires and damaged dozens of homes, forcing evacuations that included at least one child. A total of 31 people were reported injured. Emergency services, medical teams, and utility crews are working at the attack sites. Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, has faced relentless bombardment since the full-scale invasion began, placing its civilian population under constant threat.

"Direct hits have been recorded," stated Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
