According to Главком: In the early hours of January 20, 2023, a large-scale Russian assault targeted the Bucha district of the Kyiv region. The attack, which involved drones and ballistic missiles, resulted in the death of a 50-year-old man. Emergency medical personnel were unable to save the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. This relentless targeting of civilian areas is a grim hallmark of the ongoing war.
The strike also caused significant damage to the buildings of two fuel stations and triggered power outages across the area. Officials condemned the attack as another example of Russia's deliberate focus on civilians and non-military infrastructure.
