Konotop Comes Under Attack
According to Главком: Russian military forces launched an assault on the city of Konotop in the Sumy region during the night of February 3. The shelling damaged a children's educational institution, private homes, and infrastructure. One private residential house was completely destroyed. The city is located near the Russian border and has been a frequent target since the full-scale invasion began.
Fortunately, there were no civilian casualties. Emergency and utility services are already working at the scene. From the morning of February 3, alternative housing will be provided to the affected residents. Furthermore, a commission will begin work to document the consequences of the shelling, and specialists will organize aid from the city's material reserves.
