Russia attacked a hospital in Kherson and Kyiv: there are dead and wounded

According to Главком: On January 5, Russian military forces shelled a hospital in Kherson, resulting in injuries to two individuals: a 36-year-old woman and a 57-year-old medical worker. Both sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. This incident is part of a broader aggression, as on the night of January 5, Russian occupiers also attacked Kyiv and the region with drones.
Attack on Kyiv and the region
During the attack on Kyiv, a drone hit a building of a private medical center in the Obolon district of the capital. As a result of this incident, one person was confirmed dead, and four civilians were injured.
In Kyiv region due to the strikes:
- a residential building was destroyed;
- 13 private houses were damaged;
- vehicles and a high-rise building were damaged.
In the Fastiv district, there have been recorded incidents of:
- destruction of a private house and a vehicle;
- damage to three cars;
- damage to 12 private houses and six garage premises.
These events indicate the continuation of the armed conflict in Ukraine and the escalation of the situation in regions experiencing shelling of civilian objects. Attacks on medical institutions and residential buildings highlight the risks faced by civilians, as well as medical workers who strive to provide assistance to the affected. In conditions of instability and security threats, such incidents raise serious concerns for the international community regarding the humanitarian situation in the region.
