Emergency Crews Respond to Overnight Attack in Odesa Region

According to Главком: Emergency services have dealt with the aftermath of a Russian strike on Ukraine's Odesa region. The overnight assault targeted the coastline of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, igniting a fire at the site of a defunct recreational base. The blaze consumed wooden structures across an area of 250 square meters before firefighters successfully brought it under control.

The attack caused significant damage to a neighboring building and several vehicles. Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties or injuries.

Kharkiv Also Comes Under Fire

In a separate series of strikes, Russian forces also attacked the city of Kharkiv and other settlements in the region on the night of March 5. Impacts from drones were recorded in Kharkiv itself and in the town of Kamiana Yaruga.

These incidents are part of the wider, ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which continues to see intense military activity in the country's southern and eastern regions. While this specific attack resulted in no loss of life, it highlights the persistent dangers facing civilian infrastructure and populations in targeted areas.
