According to Главком: On the night of January 13, Russian terrorists attacked the suburbs of Kharkiv with drones. The mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, reported explosions and enemy strikes in the Kharkiv region. According to him, the first explosion in Kharkiv occurred around 12:45. The explosions heard in the city were outside of Kharkiv.

Terekhov also noted that a large number of enemy strike drones are being recorded in the Kharkiv region. He urged citizens to stay in shelters and follow safety rules until the all clear.
