In a statement posted on social media, the company said none of its employees were hurt, but a substantial volume of stock was either damaged or destroyed. As a result, VARUS warned customers to expect possible delivery delays and temporary gaps in availability of certain products.

Deadly strike in Chernihiv

Meanwhile, in Chernihiv, a Russian attack on a supermarket killed two people, including a 10-year-old child. According to Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the city's military administration, four more people were wounded, one seriously. Emergency crews, medics, and rescuers were dispatched to the scene.

Despite the difficult situation in the affected regions, VARUS stores remain open and are still supplying customers, even though some deliveries may be delayed.
