Russian Military Strikes Across Ukraine

According to Главком: Russian forces launched a new wave of attacks across Ukraine, striking targets in the Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Kharkiv regions. These assaults are part of a broader pattern of attacks on civilian infrastructure that has intensified in recent months. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a drone strike hit the Synelnykove district town of Shakhtarske, injuring nine people, including a 13-year-old girl. All the wounded were hospitalized, with a 57-year-old woman in serious condition and the others sustaining moderate injuries. The attack ignited a three-story building, damaging its roof and floors, while another house had its windows blown out and a garage was set on fire.

Separately, the Vasylkiv community was hit by a drone, causing a fire and damaging three private homes. In the Nikopol district, Russian troops used artillery and FPV drones to attack the district center, as well as the Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities. Fortunately, no casualties were reported from the Nikopol district strikes.

Strikes on Odesa and Kharkiv Regions

Odesa was also targeted overnight by enemy drones, resulting in the death of one man. Furthermore, on the night of February 9th, Russian occupying forces attacked the Kharkiv region with drones, striking a settlement within the Malodanylivka community. This attack killed a woman and a child, with additional casualties reported in the Kharkiv region.

These ongoing assaults on Ukrainian territory continue to have severe consequences for the civilian population, leading to loss of life and widespread damage to infrastructure. The events underscore an escalation in the conflict and a deteriorating security situation, highlighting the urgent need for measures to protect non-combatants. Such attacks exacerbate an already critical humanitarian situation in several parts of Ukraine.
