Massive shelling from Russia: consequences for Ukraine
According to Главком: Russia carried out a massive shelling targeting Vinnytsia, Burshtyn and the Kherson TPP, which caused serious consequences for the civilian population and energy infrastructure. The airstrike, which took place using cruise missiles and drones, covered the Vinnytsia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Reports indicate that explosions occurred in both cities, including a series of repeated explosions recorded in Burshtyn. The Ukrainian Air Force warned of a threat related to a group of cruise missiles moving toward Burshtyn.
The head of the Vinnytsia regional military administration, Natalia Zabolotna, confirmed that the region is under massive attack. According to her, the attack continues, and groups of strike drones are moving toward the cities. In addition, artillery strikes have been noted on the territory of the Kherson TPP, with at least five hits recorded. This is already the fourth attack on the Kherson TPP since the beginning of February, indicating targeted shelling by the Russian army of civilian energy infrastructure.
Consequences of the attacks on Dnipropetrovsk region
In addition, an attack occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in one man killed and four people injured. The communities under attack included:
- Vasylkivska
- Malomyhailivska
- Slovianska
- Pokrovska of the Synelnykove district
Rescuers conducted an operation to unblock two victims from under the rubble. This situation highlights the serious threat posed by shelling to civilians and infrastructure in Ukraine.
